Title: Growing Up Pic Meaning: The hourglass represents time. As the time goes, one will leave childhood. He/She has to deal with adult life, which is represented by the objects in the bottom part of the hour glass. The objects in the upper part of the hour glass represent childhood. The girl in the pic wants to pull her teddy bear with her, as she misses her carefree childhood. However this is impossible as the teddy bear is stuck in the bottleneck of the hourglass. Letting go is a big part of growing up.

Comments/Fave/Watch are very much appreciated! Can you guess what each of the items in the bottom part of hourglass represent?
Really like this, the concept is brilliant! A lot of my work is based a lot around childhood as well. It's a wonderful thing that is taken for granted. Such a shame that a lot of children feel the need to grow up so quickly, I would do anything to go back to when i was 5 and hadn't a care in the world!
Wow, I recently made a piece featuring a very similar theme
I like the concept alone but the way you express it is what makes it stand out...representing life as an hourglass really makes me think I also feel a lot of sympathy for the girl, especially because she still looks so young and I like the interaction between her and the teddy bear. Maybe the teddy bear can help pull her up!
your drawing really meets my image of growing up !
very well done
