Pic Meaning: The hourglass represents time. As the time goes, one will leave childhood. He/She has to deal with adult life, which is represented by the objects in the bottom part of the hour glass. The objects in the upper part of the hour glass represent childhood. The girl in the pic wants to pull her teddy bear with her, as she misses her carefree childhood. However this is impossible as the teddy bear is stuck in the bottleneck of the hourglass. Letting go is a big part of growing up.

I think this is really good symbolism of growing up. Kind of sad having  go of things. I think the shape of the hourglass should be a little bigger near the top and bottom of the hourglass. That's all the critique I have for this.

You used colored pencils right? I think your technique looks really good.
